So, our third-hand reports of Kiev police and volunteers searching were wrong.
Yesterday Sergi, Jeff and Ron were the only people searching in Zamkova gora park, that we are aware of. The Kiev police were, I’m told, supposed to come search, but didn’t.
So, going forward I think this would be the best solution:
If you know any of the local pastors or church members in and around Kiev, could you please call and plead with them to ask church members to come out and assist in the search tomorrow.
They should plan to meet at the Union office
Meet here: Luk’yanovskaya ulitsa, 9/10B – (ул. Лукьяновская 9Б)
Time 8a
At the Union office, please talk to one of the following people:
Sergi Lutsyi
Vladimir Krupskyi
Jens Serup
Jeff Sloop
These people are the people in charge of organizing and running the search parties.
I’ll update this as I have more information.

We are so worried about Dr Sloop, many questions as to how many people are searching for him, we all wish we could help, all we can do is offer our prayers, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, please keep us posted, we at YVMH labor and delivery staff are watching your blogs and are keeping our hopes high. with love the family on YVMH 4th floor.

Feeling so helpless in not knowing what you may need the most.
Would give anything to be there searching. If we need to come to WA for any reason I’ll be there.

Sergi, Jeff, and Ron, you are in our prayers for strength and wisdom about what to do. God knows where Jay Sloop is. Jay Sloop is in God’s care and keeping even though we do not know what has happened. We must pray in agreement in Jesus’ name that God will now show you clearly what to do. Get some rest and stay well so that you can keep up with the demands of this hour. Know that your whole conference is in our prayers there in Kiev. I sent this information to several here in the states that may have contacts in Kiev hoping that volunteers will be generated for the search. Do not lose hope. Remember God is greater than all the barriers encountered with such an emergency experienced in a unfamiliar land. “All the way my Savior leads me, what have I to ask beside? Can I doubt His tender mercy who through life has been my Guide?”
